Dr. Michael Kane, the head of public policy at the RACQ, expressed deep concern over the severity of the situation, stressing that the tragic nature of these incidents necessitates immediate action. In light of the rising number of such accidents, authorities are considering a crackdown that may include banning stand-up scooters and confiscating modified versions of the devices.
