Tabuai-Fidow Shines in Strategic Shift
When Queensland Maroons coach Billy Slater decided to position the speedster, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, known as ‘The Hammer’, on the wing for the second game, many fans and analysts were left puzzled.
Traditionally, Tabuai-Fidow has been utilized in the centre for the Maroons, and he primarily plays as a fullback in club competitions. In fact, it’s been three years since he last donned the wing for any match.
Nevertheless, the tactical change alongside Valentine Holmes proved fruitful, as Tabuai-Fidow netted two tries in the first half.
