A tragic incident occurred in south-west Western Australia, where 15-year-old Caitlyn Bragger lost her life in a car accident. The young Eaton resident was a passenger in a five-seater Toyota LandCruiser that flipped over on Scarp Road in Hoffman, approximately 130 kilometres south of Perth, at around 8 pm on Saturday night.

According to authorities, the vehicle was being driven by a 16-year-old boy who did not have a licence. The crash left several passengers trapped inside the vehicle, with their distress calls audible to campers in the vicinity. Caitlyn’s family has fondly remembered her as “a ray of sunshine,” highlighting the profound loss felt by her loved ones.

The incident tragically underscores the dangers associated with unlicensed driving and the serious consequences that can arise from such reckless behaviour.
