Commonwealth Bank app and NetBank users are currently facing difficulties with money transfers and payments, as the bank is addressing a system issue.

This afternoon, the bank acknowledged that a problem is hindering transfers from customer accounts. Users may find themselves unable to conduct transactions between their accounts or make payments via PayID or by using BSB and account numbers in both the CommBank app and NetBank.

The bank has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience during this period. In their communications, they noted that affected customers might encounter a pop-up alert that reads: “Something’s gone wrong. Try again a little later.”

As of now, approximately 400 customers have reported this issue on the DownDetector platform. However, the bank reassured users that card payments and ATM services remain operational, allowing customers to carry out some transactions despite the ongoing difficulties with online transfers.

The Commonwealth Bank is working diligently to resolve the issue and restore normal functionality to their services.
