Rob Thomas, the frontman of Matchbox Twenty and renowned solo artist, has announced an upcoming tour in Australia. Kicking off in Perth on October 24, he will be showcasing tracks from his new solo album, All Night Days, as he visits Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and finally Brisbane, where the tour will conclude on November 8.

In a recent conversation with Nine Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins, Thomas elaborated on the careful selection process behind his new record, stating, “I spent a lot of time curating to make sure I had the right songs for this record.” He also shared insights into his creative process and how he decides which songs belong to his solo work or Matchbox Twenty. “They let me know. They say ‘I don’t like this song’ and I go ‘That’s it, I’m gonna keep it then’”, he explained with a hint of humour.

Tickets for the tour will be available to the public on Thursday, May 29, through Ticketek. This marks an exciting opportunity for fans to experience the artistry of Thomas live, as he brings his new music as well as familiar favourites to audiences across the country.
