Severe weather conditions, including heavy rainfall and strong winds, resulted in a substantial tree falling onto Tooronga Road in Terrey Hills, located in Sydney’s northern region. The fallen tree not only blocked traffic in both directions but also made contact with powerlines in the area. Initial investigations indicate that a vehicle might have hit the tree or tried to drive over its trunk, as evidenced by scuff marks and debris found near the site.
