Woolworths has announced that, starting from June 1, it will discontinue offering double Everyday Rewards points for its Delivery Unlimited customers. This adjustment aims to streamline the Delivery Unlimited programme, refocusing it on its core objective of delivering timely and convenient service to subscribers.

Customers have been informed of this change via email. A Woolworths representative remarked on the popularity of the Delivery Unlimited service, which provides unlimited deliveries for a monthly fee of $15 or an annual subscription of $119, stating that it represents great value and convenience.

In lieu of the double points, subscribers will receive a three-month complimentary subscription to Direct to Boot Now, available from June 1 to August 31. This service, which allows customers to pick up their groceries in under 60 minutes, typically incurs a charge of $5 per order.

The spokesperson added that despite the revocation of certain bonuses, the Delivery Unlimited service still offers enticing benefits. However, they have indicated that customers wishing to cancel their subscription can contact the customer service team for assistance.

Additionally, it is important to note that, effective June 1, customers will also lose access to the monthly 10 per cent discount associated with the Everyday Extra programme at Big W.
