Abdul Abdullah has been awarded the Packing Room Prize for 2025 for his painting titled No Mountain High Enough, featuring fellow artist Jason Phu. According to Alexis Wildman, a senior installation officer and member of the Art Gallery’s Packing Room team, the staff were immediately captivated by the artwork. She praised the technical skill involved, noting that it effectively portrays the essence of its subject—a lone ranger and a quiet hero navigating the complexities of modern social issues.

Wildman indicated that the painting sparked lively discussions among the Packing Room team, which comprises skilled art handlers, many of whom are artists themselves. Abdullah expressed his gratitude for the recognition, describing the award as a collective celebration of artistic appreciation, akin to an "artist’s pick." He conveyed his happiness that his artwork resonated with the team, further emphasizing the significance of this accolade.

The winner of the Packing Room Prize receives a cash award of $3,000.
