A worker in his twenties sustained injuries after falling three metres and becoming impaled on his buttocks at a construction site on Talavera Road, Macquarie Park, shortly before 11am, confirmed NSW Ambulance. Fortunately, the man is alert and conscious, with his injuries not deemed life-threatening, and he remains at the scene while emergency services assist. Paramedics are currently aiding in the extraction process, and the situation is evolving, with plans for the man to be winched out of the location. SafeWork NSW has been approached for further comments regarding the incident.
