A tragic incident occurred in the south-east of Perth, where a 65-year-old man lost his life following a collision with a bus. The accident took place around 7:40 am yesterday as the man was out on his morning run, heading north-west along Garden Street. He was struck by a Transperth bus at the junction of Forest Lakes Drive and Garden Street.
Immediately after the collision, emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and the man was swiftly transported to Fiona Stanley Hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his severe injuries and passed away in the hospital.
